Lisa Carter Grist, born Cardiff, 1972 is an artist living and working in North Wales. She deliberately places herself in an uncertain position when working, relying on intuition and spontaneity within the labour.
Lisa Carter Grist holds a BA (Theatre Design) from Central Saint Martin’s (1994). Her works have been selected for the National Eisteddfod of Wales, 2024, 2019, 2013 and 2009 and for the Beep Painting Biennale (2020) and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (2019 and 2015). She has exhibited at Somerset House, MOSTYN and has received two Arts Council of Wales awards, (2012 and 2011). In 2024 she was commissioned by CELF The National Musuems of Wales Network, for an artwork installation to be located at Ruthin Centre for the Applied Arts.
